Share information, knowledge and questions

The aim of the message board is for member businesses to have a platform for sharing information in relation construction and building industries. Opinions expressed in messages are those of the message author and not necessarily of their employer or of the Building & Construction Industry Forum.

Registered users may place new, or respond to existing messages using the site's message board facility. The Forum does not review messages before they are posted, and so accept no responsibility for and exclude all liability in connection with the content of messages, the use of information contained in messages including but not limited to any liability for errors, inaccuracies, omissions or misleading or defamatory statements.

Members are not permitted to use the message board for the following purposes:

• Contract management, negotiations or resolution
• Advertising of services - replies are permitted to identify potential sources of further information

The content of any posts should not include:

• Hatred
• Racism
• Harassment
• Personal attacks
• Adult content
• Obscene material
• Nudity or pornography
• Knowingly false or defamatory statements
• Material that infringes intellectual property or other proprietary rights of any party
• Any illegal content
• Any link to or any images from a site containing any material outlined in these restrictions
• Any material deemed offensive or inappropriate by the Forum

The Forum reserves the right to amend or delete any message from the message board where it is in breach of the rules or guidance. In this event, the author will be notified of any changes, and will be given the option of accepting the changes or removing the message entirely. The user posting the message remains solely responsible for the content and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Forum and it agents and officers with respect to any claim based upon transmission of the message or its contents.
